The late Mr. Jamil
Tahboub, who started as a solo practitioner, initiated our
Firm in 1972. With years passing, many members joined and
graduated from the practice. In 1996, the small office of
Downtown-Amman moved to Shmeisani. Since then, five key
professionals joined forces to re-structure the Firm and
provide dedicated services to NLC’s clients.
Our attorneys possess sterling academic credentials, and are
motivated by our Center’s motto "Equity, Service,
Excellence". Acknowledging attorneys’ importance for the
success of any judicial system, they demonstrate the
strictest personal and professional ethics. Their strong
belief in "Equity" elevates their professional work to
higher levels of performance. At our very core, we focus on
each client's background, needs, and goals and design the
best "Service" accordingly. That's where we start, and
thrive to achieve "Excellence" while working side by side
with our clients.
Our Center’s client base
reflects a broad range of governmental entities, businesses,
industries and non-governmental organizations. We act as
counsel for a number of public and private companies,
including companies engaged in manufacturing, real estate
development, hi-tech, telecommunications and other
operations. Also among the Center’s clients are investment
funds, and individual investors operating both locally and
internationally.
The Center’s emphasis is
on providing top quality service to clients with complex
business and financial issues. We participated in the design
and implementation of several projects on regional and
international levels. On several occasions, NLC introduced
non-orthodox legal support formulas, establishing direct
involvement and belief in our clients and their operations.
Based on our strong
knowledge of the Middle East, and our constant review of
global changes, we are fully integrated with our clients’
local and international needs. We realize that we are not
the biggest in size, yet we measure strength by quality of
services and prompt response to our clients’ needs.
